Boys weekend

 

Josh was on dad duty all day Saturday! I was at a Womens retreat @ church & the boys played hard!

Saturday they went to the commons indoor playground downtown & then walked across the street to the children's museum where we have a membership. Then they had lunch at Chick fil A, josh said Hudson for home and said it's nite nite time dad. :) 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Signs orders lately

 

I've had tons of sign orders lately! October I did 75 & November looks like it will be more!! Can't believe how well this little business is going, so blessed!!

I almost stopped this summer but decided to scale back & up prices to be more competitive with other sign makers. My prices at that time were a lot cheaper than competitors & that's why I got super busy. 

I really enjoy doing it & it keeps me super busy. A friend the other day said how do I juggle teaching Bootcamp @ 5:30 AM 3 mornings a week, run a business & raise these boys along with josh. I told her I was born with an absurd amount of energy & it keeps me out of trouble! I do love being busy & always having something to do, so I suppose it fits. I do plan on closing the shop for a week or two over Christmas just to take a break & get refreshed!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Leaf + Art

 

We did a fun leaf art project today, Hudson LOVES art projects. It's all he wants to do!! He recently learned how to use scissors, its sooo cute!!

 

 

 

 

Race Car!

No no no, we didn't drive around the parking lot looking to find one of the race car shopping carts in one of he cart corrals - not us!!! 

Whoever invented these are geniuses!! I can do an entire grocery trip + snacks + a free cookie from bakery only in a slight sweat :) 

Handlettering Party

 

I had my 2nd handlettering party last night, my sweet friend Jenny hosted at her house.

Here's a few finished products, we had 11 ladies & 2 of them  did 2 signs. Such a fun night getting to know MOPS mommas better. Our host Jenny decorated her house for Christmas for the party. We all said how we need to go home & decorate our home for Christmas too. Love these ladies so blessed by their friendships!!

Signs galore

I'm getting a ton of holiday orders & I'm so busy. Can't believe how this shop has just grew & grew - such a blessing!! I'm doing about 50 signs a month and I think I'm just going to get busier until Christmas. Josh has been helping me in the shop most evenings, so fun having him - he's so detailed!! Love it!!

Cummins

Here is Josh's certificate for being employee of the quarter over ALL of cummins electronics. So proud of him & all his hard work in providing for our family. We love you Josh, thanks for taking care of us!!!

Halloween candy after dinner tonight. I brought the treat bowl down after dinner & let the boys pick their own piece. They loved it.

Halloween 2016

I told Hudson when he went back out with Josh to trick or treat some more with some other friends to tell me all about it. He rushed in the door and told me about each piece of candy & how fun it was & how he got a piece of candy shaped like a football. He had a wonderful night & even got a package of microwave popcorn he's really excited to have for our Friday night movie and popcorn tradition! 

   

Hudson carrying both of their bags, so sweet! Lincoln would get up to the door and just walk into their houses. Sooo funny!!
