Trucks, Chocolate Cake & Lots of Love!

What a great birthday Hudson had, it was so fun celebrating our sweet boy!! Aunt Jessie made the coolest cake, Hudson kept saying Truck truck Truck Truck Truck - I think he loved it!!

Love my sweet family :)

Took a walk on the people's trail before they left, love this picture - How funny do we all look!?!

Thanks so much for coming down :)

And thanks to all our family & friends who have helped us these past two years. I wasn't sure we would survive the first year, but it keeps getting sweeter. We are so blessed by this sweet boy and now we are having another, our cup runneth over!!

These are match box cars that Hudson's Great Grandpa Kramer gave him from his own collection. He hasn't set them down since he opened them!

New book about things that Go & a talking tigger that makes him squeal with laughter!!

Sweet Boy

Here's some pictures from the week so far. I'm running on an empty tank and these Braxton hicks contractions are coming more than they're going. I don't think we have long till this little guy comes but maybe that's wishful thinking! I'm SO ready, SOOOO ready! I completely forgot how hard these last few weeks are, shew, luckily Hudson is a sweetie and being extra sweet to me. He is such a blessing!!

I have met some of the sweetest women here in Columbus. They mean even more to me coming from Fulton where we felt so alone. It's been such a year of learning for us, there was so much we took for granted in Louisville. I can't begin to say how thankful I am for being here in Columbus and making some sweet sweet friends. I've met a lot of them through church and then through MOPS.

Today a group of friends sent out a text to a large group of us friends setting up a play date at the park. I told them I couldn't go because I have an Obgyn appointment and they insisted I bring Hudson by to play so I can go alone. Anytime I need anything there are so many sweet friends I know I can call to help me. I'm so blessed and thankful for all of these friendships!!

Happy Birthday Hudson

Happy Birthday to my sweet boy who made me a mom. These past two years have been the best, nothing compares to seeing the world through the eyes of a child. Thank You Hudson for growing my patience and making my heart expand infinitely more. You have taught me more than you could ever know I pray for you everyday. I love you sweet boy!!

First Times

Sewed my first throw pillow yesterday, I love how it turned out. I actually had that fabric leftover from curtains I made & the buttons I already had so it was essential a free project!!

Our weekend

What a sweet weekend we had!! I woke up extra early Saturday and drove to a really good donut shop in Seymour and surprised these two with a dozen donuts!! They weren't happy at all :)!!

Then we walked downtown to the farmers market which is 12 blocks away and got some homemade bread. Next we decided to walk to a park that I take Hudson to a lot, Mills Race Park. We went by a really neat Cummins building that is covered in vines - so pretty!

Hudson spotted the playground and wanted to run with daddy so he wouldn't miss a thing.

Here he is picking dandelions he doesn't quite understand the whole blowing thing :). We had such a fun morning!! On the way home we walked the People's Trail which leads right to our house. I didn't snap any pictures but at the Park they were having an elementary school running race so there were hundreds of kids, Hudson loved watching!

I also decided to bake myself a chocolate cake, Josh doesn't like chocolate so I usually don't get treats like this!!
