Road Trips!

Yesterday we went to Indy I had to pick up some dining chairs we ordered so we stopped by the malls play area too!!

Ha! Every little boys dream, he kept saying, 'fast!' 

We rode the escalator up and down once , he loves it and does really well holding my hand the whole way.

After nap we played on the front porch for a bit, he loves watching all the cars & trucks & bikes go by. He also does really well with not going down the steps, he never tried. 

When daddy got home they sat up there together he thought he was pretty cool. He was in the middle of a speech during these photos! 

Adventures with HW

Oh you ask what Hudson and I do all day well here ya go the answer is CARS & TRUCKS! All day everyday! Notice they are sitting on B, that was my idea shortly after this picture he grabs B and all the cars go flying! 

Hudson had 'school' yesterday aka MOPS, he loves going. When I tell him we are going to school today he runs to grab his bag and then gets his shoes and any pair of my shoes he sees and runs immediately to the door. So sweet!

This is what followed a glorious FOUR HOUR nap of Hudson's yesterday! You may think I took a refreshing nap during that time but oh no I'm in the depths of the third trimester and sleep isn't part of that. Nope sweet Lincoln is practicing gymnastics like his brother in my belly and all I can think about is nesting. But I have been super productive lately! 

But yep you guessed it more cars & trucks! These four are currently his favorite.

Now the cars and trucks are taking a nap under B and Hudson is telling them 'shhh' and closing his eyes so they know to go 'nite nite.' Isn't he sweet?! 

Now he says 'wake wake.'

This is another new thing he is doing he loves to point at the pictures on his rug and tell me what it is. His favorite is house, tree and of course truck. 

Backyard Surprise!

How pretty are these flowers in our backyard?! The previous owner must have planted them and I'm loving it! Can't wait to start planting more flowers and start a garden. 

We had two fence companies come by today to give us estimates on a fence to keep our curious Hudson safe. I stressed having a child proof lock!

I think these will be pink tulips when they bloom!

Lincoln's (shared) nursery

We set up the crib over the weekend, I like to have it up so I can talk to Hudson about the new baby. He did really well when having his toddler bed in his room for a few weeks prior to switching so I'm hoping this helps him. I also finished Lincoln's mobile I did the same type as I made for HW just used different colors! Hudson loves it and he loves playing in the crib during the day with his trucks & cars he murmurs baby a lot when he does. Sweet boy!

The boys will be sharing a room once Lincoln starts sleeping through the night ... That's immediate right? :) I was telling Josh how I'm soaking up ALL my sleep before he comes! 

We haven't hung anything on the walls yet because I think we may paint the walls soon. So when we decorate more I will post more pictures!

We so happened to do this after hudson went to bed just because we got into town so late - But it was probably for the best!

Bike riding at our cousins Aiden & Rowan. By the way he got up there all by himself and put the helmet on too, proud mama!

These horses are all over Louisville at various businesses and each horse is different. 

Hudson's first Easter egg hunt, he loved it!

People's Trail

Hudson insisted on going outside after his nap today so I thought a walk on The People's Trail would be nice. It's literally behind our house and the trail goes all over Columbus, it's so nice! The picture above is literally half a mile away, have I said we LOVE Columbus!! 

I asked Hudson to smile, sweet boy!

Later when Josh got home we went back out for just a bit to show him where we went on our walk earlier. 

Hudson ran for a minute and then started crying, he's still not feeling well poor guy.
