This & That

Finally used the car & truck molds my grandma gave me. I should make something terribly healthy and bake it in these molds because Hudson loved the fact he was eating a truck!!

It rained all day yesterday and Josh didn't get home till 5:45 so we got a bit antsy waiting for him. So I decided Hudson needed a bath any ways so why not go jump in puddles. He loved it needless to say. 

'Winky' as Hudson calls Lincoln had his 6 month appointment today. He weighted 17 lbs 1 ounce, 27 inches long - His weight was at the 50% on the growth chart and height was 75%! The doctor said he's perfect - I agree!!

He is getting a tad bit better in the car seat, which only means I can make it to the store and on a good day back home with no screaming! So I will take what I can get. 

I went on my womens retreat with church this past weekend and Lincoln stayed home with Josh and finally took a bottle!! 

Gratitude

For sweet Christmas crafts that lead to Hudson saying 'awe baby desus!' It was really fun & sweet - he LOVES stickers.

Attempting solids again, he didn't not like, thankful he still wants to be my baby!

Sweet boy, took him by the doctors this week because he was super fussy I wanted to have his ears checked. Doctor said the ears were fine so it must be those stinkin teeth. Thankful he's not sick!!

Thank the Lord for these shopping carts, they make shopping so much easier  - although making turns should require a license!

Sweet Lincoln is teething which is rough for all of us!! Poor boy!!

Solids

We attempted solids today with Lincoln, I don't think he cared too much for the peaches or oatmeal. Oh well we will try again.

Trucks!!

Went to the park today and the firemen were training which means a fired trip in the fire truck for Hudson!!

Have I told you that Hudson can point out cars? I'm not talking about a dump truck or trash truck which he can point out even by the sound. But this kid when he sees a Honda Pilot, which is what I drive, he says mommy's car. Now if it's not black which is the color of mine he wil say mommy's car different color!! 

His pappy & nana drive a Honda CRV and he can point out a crv on the road and say pappy & Nan's car. He does the same with aunt Jessie's jeep!

Josh drives a silver hatchback Subaru Impreza so anytime he sees a silverSubaru hatchback he says daddy's car. Now his Aunt Liz drives a red two door sports car, Oldsmobile. So anytime he sees a red two door sports car he says Liz car, fast car! He adds the fast in because his Great Grandpa Kramper gave him a toy red Ferrari and he calls it his fast car :) I know I'm biased but he's the cutest 2 year old I know!!

Tuesdays

On Tuesdays we do a kid swatch. I have three other stay at home mom friends who live a few blocks away, so on Tuesday mornings two moms watch everyone's kids and the other two moms get a 2.5 hour break! It's really awesome we've been doing it for a few months and I  love it! It's a nice play date time if you watch the kids too. Here's some pictures from yesterday!
