treehouse on a budget

i have many post already on treehouses but when i ran into this article on the blog sho and tell, i feel like my dream of having my own self-made treehouse one day is actually a possibility. 

 the new york times did an article on the tree house, made by Alexandra Meyne - 

in the article she says,  “I THINK everyone has this special place in their brain — a primal nostalgia — for a treehouse,"  

the great thing about mrs. meyne's treehouse is she did it on a $400 budget, she secrured the treehouse to an old mulberry tree. how neat!?
