Playground Date

This past Thursday Hudson and I met our friends at a new playground in town to play. Isn't this the sweetest picture! These are two of Hudson's friends here in Columbus, Alexa (left) & Kayleigh (middle). 

We've moved!

We're officially moved in to our new home - and we're exhausted! My mother in law & sister in law came down saturday full of energy to help us move! Thanks SO MUCH for your time, we have such a wondeful family always willing to help us at any time, thank you for that!

When they left I cleaned a little and the boys came downstairs and this is how I found them playing with trains and strumming on the guitar. 

It's been a good day.

helmets and easter baskets

We've almost moved! As you can see our apartment is in disarray & hudson is dressed for anything!! 

Saturday my sister in law & mother in law come down to help us get settled in the new house, I'm so excited - it will be a lot of fun! I can't move much so Josh has been doing all of the moving I stick to cleaning, hanging curtains and telling him where to put stuff, teehee!! But I'm so thankful for all his hardwork especially after a long day in the office he is still willing to pack up the car and take boxes over, thanks Josh!!!

sunshine is my medicine!

My friend Vanessa watched Hudson for a couple hours this morning to let me take care of some business. She sent me this text not long after I had dropped him off - how cute! 

He also got a checkup by his friend Alexa she said every bring was in tip top shape!

He even gave himself a shot in the belly!

Next, they played a very fun game where they would take turns turning on & off the light. 

We followed up our morning with a lunch date at panera. 

After nap we decided to go to the playground where we ran into some of our friends and Hudson relaxed in the swing!

This is a day in the life of an almost two year old, and it's fun!!!

Third Trimester

So I think this is my first belly shot of this sweet boy, oh poor second children. By now Hudson had at least 30+ pictures.  Oh, have I told ya'll the name?? Well we've decided it took a lot of time this time around ---- Lincoln Tucker! 

I feel him kick and twist and turn all the time, he's a lot more active at night just like his big brother Hudson was. I haven't been having many cravings, that's how my pregnancy with Hudson was to.  I'm making a whole lot more trips to the ladies room lately, and I know that won't be going away anytime soon. I am starting to get hungrier more often and the heartburn is getting very intense, I have tums with me at all times. I've only gained 11 lbs so far, but with Hudson it came on quick in those last few weeks! I have only 12 weeks to go until my due date and if you remember Hudson came 2 weeks early! 

I'm just so thankful to be given another little boy, when I was pregnant with Hudson I really didn't know what to expect. Sure we knew we were having a baby but the love that would come I had no idea it would be so strong.  Now that Hudson is right before my eyes I know just how special this little boy is!!

memories

Love this sweet boy!! Over the weekend we made a special trip to get doughnuts and I think Hudson approved. Josh and I love making memories with him it's so fun to have a special morning together and enjoy a doughnut or two (or three :)). 

cakes & flowers

Wanted to share these, I know my Grandma Kramer will especially love them! Joyce & Jessica handmade these flowers over the weekend for a sweet sixteen cake, aren't they gorgeous. I can't imagine the time & patience it must have taken, Jessie Cakes is the best!!

Stomach Bug

This was us yesterday, I had the stomach bug and it was a very rough day. Hudson was so sweet and would come lay on top of me and hug and kiss me. He's such a sweet boy and knew his mama was sick. He watched lots of movies it was about all I could manage in between trips to the bathroom. Thankfully it hasn't got him yet, pray he doesn't catch it please!!

I think I'm coming out of it though, but being pregnant it sure takes a toll being sick. I plan on resting most the weekend!

Building & MOPS

This sweet boy loves blocks & building.  We've been finding more of his toys as we are moving things to the new house. So he is pretty excited!!

I've also joined MOPS it's an international group that stands for Moms of Preschollers. It has been so wondeful for me to make friends and give Hudson time to socialize with peers. Hudson goes every Wednesday for 2 hours 15 minutes and I go every other Wednesday. When it's the week for the moms to meet  we have brunch (each table has a week they bring food), there's speaker (usually an encouraging topic for moms) & then we break off into a group discussion. The other Wednesday that Hudson just goes I get 2 hours and 15 minutes to myself, and it's the fastest 2 hours ever!! 

I'm so thankful to have found this group it's sooo organized and they take such good care of the kiddos. Hudson made a new friend today, Brooks, and he keeps mumbling 'books' to himself ever since we left. So sweet to see him make friends! 

Below is Hudson walking to our car headed to MOPS and he is carrying his green eggs and ham bag. He was so proud of himself for carrying it to the car! 

gratitude

Thankful for this munchkin today, how did I get so lucky to be his momma!! Can you  believe in two months & 14 days he will be a two year old, time flies!

Here's to gratitude and how it turns everything into enough!!

House Projects

 

My dad & grandpa came today to help us with a few things in the kitchen.  Not sure what we would've done without all our families help!! THANK YOU!! 

Here's the guys removing the awnings, what a change it makes! You couldn't walk out on the porch because the awnings jutted out so much you would smack your head on them, my poor forehead is still recovering. Plus they let so much more sunlight in and you don't have to look at the underneath of the awnings from inside the house. Thanks Dad!

Couldn't help much this weekend but I put this room sort of together. 

This was us this morning in our apartment. Most of the furniture is gone  so Josh and I slept on a mattress in the living room, Hudson loved it. 

FIRST try!

Today I folded three loads of laundry, emptied dishwasher, cleaned apartment, took some items to the new house, cleaned basement AND got my sweet little boy to SLEEP IN HIS TODDLER BED!!

I remember the first night we brought Hudson home from the hospital oh we we're a hot mess. We had no idea what to do, and the responsibility of keeping him alive was so overwhelming. But somehow we've made it to here to this sweet boy sleeping in a big boy bed. Wow, we've come a really really long way! 

Bring on baby #2, I got this!!

Training

We told Hudson it's time to start training for his cycling career. We're working on reaching the pedals, one step at a time!
