Weekend

We love our weekends with Dad!! 

We went down to Louisville Saturday for Rowan's 5th birthday, Hudson had a blast. He slept till 8:30 this morning :) He adores his big cousins, they're so sweet to him!

Milestone

My sweet little Lincoln slept E I G H T hours straight last night. 

I'm one happy & well rested momma :) It's been 63 days since I've slept more that 4.5 hours (not that I'm counting) I could run a race with all this rest :) 

Two Months!

Time is flying by with this sweet boy. There's not a minute of my day that goes to waste I feel like. 

Lincoln these days:

Refuses the bottle

Will only nurse

Loves being held 

Likes the swing and baby gym

Tolerates the car seat for 5ish minutes (small victories!)

Loves when you hold him and talk to him

Smiles a lot

Sleeping 5 hours at a time then 3 hours most nights. 

Sleeps on his belly only, either in his pac n play or crib

Likes to hold on to the links hanging from his baby gym 

Loves being outside

Has blow outs after being in the baby bjorn 

Eats every 3 hours 

Some nights he has a period where he nurses constantly and is kinda fussy. 

Only cries if he's hungry, needs a diaper change, wants to be held or wants me to hold him. 

 

Lincoln is super easygoing in comparison to his big brother :) We are so blessed to have him!!

His 2 month check up is Monday, I will let you know weight then!  He's getting chunky!!

Thankful!

All before 10 am and I've changed 5 poop diapers one of which Hudson thought it would be fun to play with and smear all over him and the walls. Cleaned up my cold coffee that Hudson poured all over himself & the floor while I attempted laying Lincoln down (unsuccessful). But then after all that sweet Hudson gave his little brother a kiss and it makes it all worth it. I'm thankful for these boys and both the good & bad times!!

After all that we got a spot on the couch and are watching the Tour de France  or as Hudson calls it Bikes!!

This sweet boy is such a gift I can't begin to tell you what an answered prayer he has been. I've really enjoyed each moment with him even the nights as I know how quickly this all fades. So blessed to have two sweet little boys & Josh!

Fist Bump

It's currently 7:53 am I just got Lincoln down for his first nap and Hudson is STILL ASLEEP!! Hallelujah!! It's going to be a GREAT day :) 

Lincoln also slept 5 hours straight last night for the 3rd time - I'm a happy mama. Boy don't they grow up so fast!

Hudson wanted to do some work around the house before daddy got home, he has such a sweet heart.

I love this sweet man, he takes such great care of us! 

Last night I went and got a haircut I was gone all of 45 minutes and it was glorious :)  In that time this stud got Lincoln to sleep, had Hudson clean up his toys in the living room (which they do every night), gave Hudson a bath, read him stories before bed, said prayers, put him to sleep and cleaned my kitchen!! For any young girls reading this that's what you want when you're looking for a man to date/marry, I struck gold with my Josh!!

Oh I love this sweet little guy, he's brought us so much Joy!!! So thankful for him.

Sweet times

We've had a great weekend, Lincoln has had a rough day today, maybe gas? He's currently in a milk coma on my chest and every time I stop patting his bottom he stirs! So I'm typing with my left hand only :)

Saturday we went to the farmers market in town & had so much fun. The 60 degree weather didn't hurt either! We bought meat from a local beef farm in town & I cooked the smoked brisket tonight it was amazing! I also got purple onions, heirloom tomatoes & cucumbers and made a summer salad. Then we had corn on the cob and kale, Josh has joined me in eating more healthy. I'm trying to lose the baby weight and he has been such a great encourager to me - thanks Josh!
