This sums up how much Hudson loves pooh bear. He walks around with him all day long, and he's the first thing he will curl up to on the floor. It's pretty sweet!

We are celebrating Hudson's first birthday tomorrow, I really can't believe it's {almost} been a year. This past year has been the biggest challenge but yet the greatest blessing of my life - God is so faithful! 

Can't wait to celebrate this beautiful boy! I will take tons of photos to share.

best year of my life

I don't know where this year has gone, sorry I'm aware that my blog is taken over by pictures and my excitement of him but can you blame me?! 

And if you've been following this blog of mine long enough you'd know that Hudson typically has 'fits' at night he's always been like this BUT I think we've turned a corner. Yay!! He's really coming in to his own lately and we just adore him and his little personality that he is developing. We will be playing in the house and he will hear a plane fly overhead and he will just stop, look up, then look at me and say, "ooo" with the cutest pursed lips you've ever seen. {sigh} I love that little boy.

So much happening here, Hudson pretty much is running now, he goes goes goes. I broke down and bought a baby gate, I now need to get two more. He keeps me BUSY! I love it. The neighbor heard me this morning with Hudson outside counting the cars that went by and looking at the birds, and she said "I don't know who's having more fun, you or him." It's so true, I love it! Although I will admit when 4 o'clock rolls around and I'm making dinner with this sweet boy attached to my ankle and Josh on his way home, I'm not...need to learn to appreciate that more.

We got Hudson new shoes!! Unfortunately this boy has some allergies right now I'm going to try and keep him inside to help it out - but doesn't he look pretty sweet sitting with all those flowers!? 

We had a fun weekend outside enjoying all the blooming trees.

He was very excited about his easter basket - this is his pursed lip look saying "ooo ooo ooo" 

11 months old

My sweet boy turned 11 months old 5 days ago. Oh and have I mentioned he is WALKING, like really really walking.  We bought him his first real pair of shoes this morning to mark the occasion. 

Hudson loves to say "oooo oooo oooo oooo" with his pursed lips, he loves ceiling fans (loves them), he's a momma's boy (sorry josh!), loves being outside and pushing around the wagon, loves parks, loves food any and all types of food, loves back & head rubs, loves his pooh bear stuffed animal he carries it everywhere, loves balls he will throw them run and get them, then repeat. 

This sweet boy is just so great, words can't do justice how much sweeter he has made our lives. Each day is new and I've learned so much from him. He's taught me that joy can come from throwing a ball at the wall... how refreshing. Love you Hudson William

asheville

Josh and I went on a vacation without Hudson to Asheville, NC, where we rented a cabin, relaxed and best of all slept in!! We had a great time but sure did miss Hudson. He stayed with his Aunt Jessie and was spoiled rotten and during the day he went to his Nana & Pappy's. 

10 months old

This post is better late than never! 

10 months and Hudson loves: climbing stairs, climbing everything really, cruising, walking while pushing a toy car, baths, anything we are eating, crawling under the bed, being read to, watching cars and people go by. 

He is just too much fun and I can't believe that he will be one soon. It's so true that they grow up so fast. Luckily, this sweet boy still takes a bottle while snuggled in my arms. The pediatrician says he can switch to a sippy cup and drink on his own, but I'm going to soak this up while I can!

That face! This is Hudson's super excited, happy face he gets SO tickled with life he makes these faces and breathes REALLY heavy out through his nose. It's seriously the cutest thing ever. When he gets even more excited he adds in jumping up and down and if he is sitting then he will pump his hands and legs viciously.

times flying

This child is 10 months old tomorrow, say what! He moves too fast for me to get a decent picture of him these days. He is SO close to walking, he will stand for a few seconds with no help then whine a little because he gets nervous, it's pretty cute. He's learned to crawl stairs without any help, let's just say he is mobile and at times it seems unstoppable. 

But this sweet boy still loves it most in my lap reading a book or on my hip as I cook. He will sit on the floor and do this slightly whiny voice with his arms raised in the air and he will twist his wrist - that's code for "mom pick me up!" 

This was this morning headed to church, like I said it's hard to get a picture!

first time for everything

Hudson's first zoo trip, it was SO much fun! 

But, the poor boy has came down with the stomach bug, nothing is staying inside of him. It's so sad seeing him sick, but we are giving lots of hugs and kisses & pedialyte and hoping this ends soon!
