Last week was Josh's first week of school, which means it's just Hudson and I at home. It's such a treat to be able to stay at home and spend my day with this sweet boy, I'm so lucky! We are learning about each other, everyday is something new. One day I think I have it all figured out and the next day every trick I think I have fails - Oh well!

 I pray for patience each day, he has taught me I seriously lack patience!

This is how I'm able to eat breakfast in the morning - I call it his entertainment center!

This is how dinner gets done, he loves looking around, hearing all the different sounds. 

3 months old

At 3 months old Hudson loves:

Snuggling with mom (and dad), his gym, fans, when you smile at him, brightly colored toys, rattle noises, mimicking sounds, baths, sitting up, being outside, walks, and of course milk!

Oh boy, I had no idea I couldn't love someone in this way and this much. This has been the absolute toughest thing I have ever done and I wasn't sure I would survive at first but man oh man, things are wonderful now. I enjoy every moment I get to spend with this little man. He has opened my eyes to a whole new world. I love seeing him grow, seeing his curiosity unfold, his character and most of all his heart. Sheesh I'm a lucky gal, he has totally changed my life and I couldn't be happier. I'm not sure I could have prepared for the work that would happen in my life but most of all my heart. The hardest things in life are always the most rewarding, is what I am slowly figuring out. 

bath time

Hudson has his first cold (boo!) so when he woke up this morning we gave him a bath since it's his favorite. Here's to hoping my boy gets to feeling better!

haircut by liz

I have my own personal hairstylist and I LOVE IT! Liz is finally able to cut hair at school and I was her first client today. She did a fantastic job, I absolutely love it! Can't wait to go back to see her :^)

morning meetings

Hudson and Pooh Bear have early morning meetings in the kitchen. They discuss important issues like milk, nap time, toys and more milk. 

summer days

Josh starts school next tuesday so we are trying to soak in our last week with him here. Hudson turns 3 months old on Friday, and the old cliche is true, time goes by so fast!

family of three

We had such a wonderful weekend all my mom's brothers & sisters (except one) and my grandparents  made the trip down to kentucky!! It's such a special thing because they all live in different states and it's hard to get together but we did. So thankful for family! 

Hudson had his three month check-up today and he weighed 13 lbs 13 ounces, they said he is in the 75% in his age group - Doctor said we are doing well! Always nice to hear reassurance when you're a new mom.
