3rd trimester!

Can you believe I'm in my 3rd trimester?! How time flies! This belly of mine is getting enormous, and Hudson is moving SO much. During class is a very active time for him and I have to admit I am having a hard time concentrating on class because his movements are so sweet. 

DIY roman shades

I made a roman shade for our bathroom on Saturday, I just wanted something simple that would filter the light. I think it turned out quite well!

dissecting

Yesterday in lab we dissected a cow brain, yuck! It was very interesting, I loved the hands on approach to learning, but with that said it's still yucky. 

Josh tore a muscle in his groin at soccer on tuesday night so he actually stayed home today to nurse his leg. At school the past few days he was in such pain walking around and standing so today he is just laying around. I will probably study all weekend, no big plans for us - I do love weekends like this!

almost spring!

Not sure if you remember this post from the fall - but my sister-in-law made this beautiful wreath for our front door. She told me the best part is you can change out the flowers every season!! So today I picked up these pretty peony's, the same flower I carried in my wedding bouquet :), and switched out the flowers. I'm hoping to find another 'R' that will match the flowers to add to it as well.

 I'm thinking I can keep this up till fall!!

happy valentines day & happy birthday to one of my best friends since preschool and sister-in-law, jessie cat!

we are celebrating her birthday tonight and i wrapped her present extra special!

25 weeks!! 3 more weeks to 3rd trimester, where is the time going?!

josh surprised me yesterday with my valentine's day gift, he usually doesn't participate in this holiday so i was very surprised. a beautiful orchid, box of chocolates & my favorite ice cream.  :^)

our weekend

Over the weekend we set-up Hudson's cradle that will go in our room. We have it set-up in his room right now, until we get the crib in there. Pretty darling?! 

The car blanket is from his great-grandparents - he sure is loved!

 can't wait till he is here! i hit the 24 week mark today, which is exactly 6 months! wahoo! 

confession: at night i have this habit while i'm sleeping to roll SLIGHTLY onto my stomach, to relieve the aching pain in my hips and poor hudson will just start kicking me till i wake up and roll over. i wonder if this happens to all pregnant women? i sure hope so, if not i feel terrible!
